HANKidz Speaking School

Transforming Children from

Feeling Shy to Confident, Extraordinary Speakers

A Speaker's Journey To Confidence

In 10 years, your child will be a young

adult who faces the real world.

Your Child Shouldn’t Stay Hiding and Running from Public Speaking

Holding On to Their Fears Will Disadvantage Them

You will keep worrying about them, and feel helpless in what to do when they:

❌Feel small and afraid | They suppress their minds and hearts out of fear of expressing their true emotions.

Missed opportunities | They dare not to speak their mind.

Are trapped in their cycle of fears until adulthood | They are scared to make mistakes, not good enough, and unable to speak up in meetings and presentations.

❌ Remain a follower | They do not speak up.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

Let’s Grow Out of Their Comfort Zone!

Most people fear public speaking more than we fear dying.

But...what if we could grow from feeling fear to being bold?

FEAR

BOLD

You can empower your child and take action to help them grow!

They will:

Feel proud to express themselves | Grow their confidence as a speaker.

Speak up with courage | They can grab the opportunity to share their thoughts fluently.

Grow with fear | Fear may be present sometimes, but it doesn’t stop them from speaking up.

Speak up anytime and anywhere | They strongly believe in who they are.

Becoming a leader | They can stand up for themselves and speak up bravely.

Your Child Will Be Able To:

Build the IDENTITY of a Speaker

They can speak up on stage, connect off stage, and anytime to share their thoughts and opinions (without relying on a script).

Learn their REASON for Speaking

They take ownership to grow after knowing their WHY to speak up.

Have the Freedom to EXPRESS

They are free to express what they think and what they believe in without holding back.

CONNECT with a Supportive Community of Speakers

They can build interpersonal skills to socialize and build deep meaningful relationships with others.

Testimonials

Let's Hear from the Parents!

It takes a community of supportive parents, build the voice within each child.

Let's hear from our loving parents and children!

"He is much more comfortable in his own skin right now. Rather than before, he was always skeptical and lacked confidence. So now if I ask him any questions he will tell me just like that. There is no hold back that he's worried that he might be wrong."

Hannah

(Mum of Davion, 8)

- Speak2Lead Graduate (2022)

"I see her articulate better on her feelings and connect to her friends better. She's able to understand that when her team mates are talking and look at it from their points of view. She's more able to give her thoughts when she's dealing with her friends. She's branching out to get to know a lot more friends in her class."

Satish

(Mum of Ishleen, 10)

- Speak2Lead Graduate (2021)

"Witnessing Jayden & Jowan confidently take the stage and address an audience was a moment that filled our hearts with joy. It's clear that they have grown not only in their speaking abilities but also as individuals. This newfound confidence will undoubtedly serve them well in their future endeavors."

Let's Hear from Our Speakers Themselves Too!

"The challenges I face sometimes is that I feel nervous and I get scared. (Now) there's a lot of difference in my confidence and the way I speak. (I could feel that) when I gave the speech for my teacher's farewell ceremony"

Danial, 11

- Speak2Lead Student (2023)

"Before I join the class, I felt very very nervous. When someone asked me to speak, I don't want to speak (like when I buy something). Now I can speak better already, still feel nervous sometimes but now I can do it. 现在我没有那么紧张了 (I'm not so nervous anymore) because I share more in HANKidz."

Jong Weng, 11

- Speak2Lead Student (2023)

"At first when I started HANKidz I used to feel very shy and didn't want to share a lot. Now I am sharing almost most of the time. I feel my growth has improved a lot."

Lavinah, 9

- Speak2Lead Student (2023)

"When I first started I was a little bit like shy and playful! The word we always hear is confidence and you (coach) also teach us the PREP method (to speak spontaneously). I think I improved on my essence (speaking with emotions) too."

Jee Fung, 9

- Speak2Lead Student (2023)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • What makes HANKidz Speaking School programs different from conventional public speaking courses?

We build speakers who speak to lead others; they can proactively connect with others in daily conversations beyond the stage. We emphasize speaking spontaneously from the heart, without replying to a script.

  • How can I know if my child is suitable for the program?

First-time students are invited to the first 2.5-hour Speaker’s Workshop session:

    • Your child will experience the workshop, the coaches’ guidance, and the learning environment. They will be learning about the foundation of self-confidence before proceeding to the longer-term program.
    • The coaches will assess your child’s progress (strengths, areas to improve, what’s next for them as a speaker), learning style, and suitability.
    • Following the session, we will meet with parents to update them on the student’s progress.

  • What are the methodologies used to teach the students?

We adopt the 3 Ps Methodology – Passion, Purpose, and Proficiency to build our speakers.

Public speaking is not only about skills. More importantly, it is the mindset that plays the main role in motivating a child to keep growing themselves as speakers far beyond the class!

Find out about the 3P Methodology here!

We also apply gamification elements and story-based learning through our classes.

Learning public speaking becomes an exciting adventure for them, rather than a chore.

  • How many students are there in each class?

Each class consists of a maximum of 15 students.

The coach-to-student ratio is 1:5 to ensure all children receive the engagement and necessary attention throughout the class.

  • Where are you located (for physical speech sessions)?

HANKidz Academy Kota Damansara (near Sunway Giza).

    Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/eo8qmEAUmwPkTCox5

  • What is parental involvement in the Speaking Journey like?

Your parental involvement plays a major part in your child’s journey as a speaker.

We see that actively involved parents contribute to a healthy and encouraging role in the child’s growth journey and allow them to be more certain and at ease in growing as speakers.

Coaches will meet parents twice - Mid-Point Check and Speaker’s Review session - to keep updated on your child’s progress and growth, and share helpful tips and tools to implement at home in supporting your child’s speaking journey.
