What does it mean to bring out my child's voice? 

When I say public speaking, we usually imagine children on stage with their prepared props and memorised script saying all the perfect words that their parents (you) craft out for them.

But...is that all there is to it?

What about your child's truest voice, how they truly feel, what they want to express, where does that go?

I'm sure we can all agree that true confidence is more than just speaking from memory. You don't get a script to speak up in an important meeting, nor do you get one when you are out making new connections.

Growing up in the 21st century is no simple task.

Our kids today are up against many challenges of the future, increased competition, higher-stress learning environment, negative social media influence, peer pressure, the list goes on.

This has created a generation of our kids who feel afraid to speak up and express themselves freely, afraid of making mistakes, judgement, feeling not good enough. Hence, the fear of speaking up and expressing themselves.

Why this matters?

• Your child could be the best magician, scientist, inventor, best anything, but if they can't express that, no one would know how bright they shine.
• Your child could have the best academic results in class, but if they can't express their true feelings, they end up being unhappy youths.
• Your child could have the best ideas and thoughts to share, but without a safe space to do that, these ideas become buried within them...
